Leather is an important part in life and the development of mankind for more than 5,000 years. The Egyptians started 3,000 B. C. to tan animal skin, and in the course of the next millennia, constantly new and more refined techniques of leather manufacture have been developed.
This long tradition is our commitment: We preferably use qualitatively high-class leather of mainly vegetal tanning – produced, among others, in a craftman’s business in Mülheim an der Ruhr, the former centre of the German tanning guild. In this family business with more than 125 years experience, only selected, generally not preserved furs and skins from the Alpine countries are processed in the traditional way with vegetal extracts like mimosa and quebracho to finest leather. This fine leather is the base material for our products, which we shape in handicraft to robust, endurable, beautiful, practical, exclusive and sensual accessories.
That is how we live our philosophy:
To offer our customers high-class leather goods with highest craftsmanship at reasonable prices. And that has tradition as well.
